Bayanihan Bakunahan III on Feb 10-11

DAVAO CITY, Feb 8 (PIA) - The Bayanihan Bakunahan or National Vaccination Day III is set to be conducted on February 10-11, 2022. In the Regional Vaccination Operation Center (RVOC) Davao Region meeting today, all implementing offices are informed and are now preparing for the Bayanihan Bakunahan III kick off. The NVD III targets to vaccinate all population (12 years old and above) especially for the primary series doses and booster doses for the 18 years old and above. Priority population for the NVD are the A2, A5 population (primary and booster doses); and booster doses especially in workplaces and ecozones. In the DOH XI data, the government is yet to reach out and vaccinate 91,889 senior citizens in Davao Region for the first dose. Davao City has exceeded its target and covered 124% or 116,927. Kapalong Mayor attributes vax rates increase to Bayanihan Bakunahan

DAVAO DEL NORTE, Jan. 6 (PIA) – The vaccination rates in Kapalong has considerably increased after holding two rounds of three-day National Vaccination Days dubbed as "Bayanihan Bakunahan" to  fight COVID-19. Kapalong Municipal Mayor Maria Theresa R. DAVAO ORIENTAL, Dec. 21 (PIA) -- The Provincial Government of Davao Oriental along with its city and municipal local government units (LGUs) kicked off its second round of the Three-Day National Vaccination Days dubbed as Bayanihan Bakunahan to boost the vaccination rate in their respective LGUs on December 20-22, 2021. The Department of Health Region XI Regional Director Dr. Anabelle Yumang graced the kick-off of the second round of vaccination in Davao Oriental yesterday in the Municipality of Baganga with Provincial Governor Nelson L. Dayanghirang. The City of Mati, Municipality of Baganga, and the Municipality of Lupon are the LGUs that joined the second round of Bayanihan Bakunahan on December 21-22, 2021. DAVAO CITY, Dec. 13 (PIA) - The Civil Service Commission issued an advisory calling for volunteers from the government sector for the Second Round of “Bayanihan, Bakunahan National COVID-19 Vaccination” on 15 to 17 December 2021 Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11525 and Proclamation No. 1253 dated 24 November 2021. Students, parents in Sarangani Island urged to get jabs against COVID-19

DAVAO CITY, Dec. 7 (PIA) – The students aged 12-17 years old in Sarangani, the island municipality of Davao Occidental province, were urged to be inoculated against COVID-19 in preparation for the face to face classes early next year. Dr. Roy T. DAVAO CITY, December 7 (PIA) – Following a call for a continuation of the recently concluded Bayanihan Bakunahan, the Department of Health Davao Region announced Monday that a Round 2 is scheduled on December 15-17. 51,500 Dabawenyos catered during Bayanihan Bakunahan

DAVAO CITY, Dec. 1 (PIA)—A member of the City COVID-19 Task Force revealed that 51, 500 residents have been vaccinated for the past two days of the 3-day Bayanihan Bakunahan.   Dr. Michelle Schlosser, COVID-19 Task Force spokesperson said the actual number of vaccinees may fall short of the 147, 313 vaccinations targeted by the Department of Health XI in Davao City. DavSur’s national vaccination provincial kick-off gets influx of eager vaccinees

3-day national vax drive seen to boost jabbing in IP areas

TALAINGOD, Davao del Norte, Nov. 29 (PIA) ---  The three-day national vaccination drive dubbed as “Bayanihan Bakunahan” is seen to  boost the percentage of vaccinated individuals especially in areas of low vaccination rates.   Davao del Norte Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Alfredo Lacerona was optimistic that the vaccination rate in the Municipality of Talaingod would  ramp up as he noted the huge influx to Sto Nino Gymnasium of individuals interested to  get jabbed. 22 vax sites in Tagum City for Bayanihan Bakunahan

TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte—The City Government of Tagum has opened 22 vaccination sites for the three-day National Vaccination campaign with  the end goal of vaccinating a  total of 51,649 individuals. City Health Education Promotion Officer (HEPO) Rae Catherine Apura told PIA that the city government aims to achieve 17,216 jabbing daily from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. After the kick-off rites at Tagum City Hall Atrium this morning (Nov. 29), Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon dispatched all City Department Heads to see to it that targets are met and even surpassed. The city government  has  clinched agreements with malls, hospitals and schools aside from government facilities as sites of the 3-day national vaccination campaign Bayanihan Bakunahan. DavSur provincial LGU targets over 130,000 inoculated on Bayanihan Bakunahan

DAVAO CITY, Nov. 25 (PIA) – The provincial government of Davao del Sur has targeted 134,866 individuals in the entire province to get inoculated during the “Bayanihan Bakunahan” National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign on November 29, 30 to December 1, 2021.   Davao del Sur Governor Marc Douglas IV Cagas has issued Executive Order No. 39 Series of 2021 on Monday (Nov. 22), enjoining all local government units and stakeholders in the province to support and participate in the three-day vaccination drive.   In the executive order, Cagas raised the importance of the provincial LGU’s full support to the national vaccination campaign to further accelerate the vaccination rollout and to achieve at least 70 per cent of its eligible population.   It aims to get a daily target of 44,962 vaccinees in the whole province during the period.   The following are the breakdown of the total target population per city/municipality: Bansalan -5,667; Digos City - 13,005; Hagonoy - 5,310; Kiblawan - 4,274; M

Davao Oriental eyes 96,744 vaccinees this Nov 29- Dec. 1

DAVAO CITY- The Province of Davao Oriental is eyeing to vaccinate 96,744 individuals during the Bayanihan Bakunahan (National Vaccination Days) slated Nov. 29- Dec. 1 According to Davao Oriental Provincial Health Officer II Dr. Reden Bersaldo this would mean a target of 32,248 vaccinees per day during the three-day event. Dr. Bersaldo who is also the Provincial Task Force on COVID-19 Action Officer said the vaccination would focus on population groups; the pediatric population (12 to 17 years old), senior citizens, frontline personnel in essential sectors, indigent population. The three day Bayanihan Bakunahan aims to vaccinate persons not yet vaccinated in an effort to achieve herd immunity. In the Davao Region, the Department of Health-XI is targeting 753,294 unvaccinated individuals. Based on provincial data, Davao Oriental has a total population of 607,851 and 70% of the population is pegged at 425,494. Around 214,857 have already been vaccinated which is 50.50% of the total target
