DAVAO CITY, Oct. 1 (PIA) – The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of the local government of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur has kept up with its food assistance for the COVID-19 patients, using available resources. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the LGU of Sta. Cruz has never stopped providing food packs and preparing meals for COVID-19 patients admitted at the municipal isolation facility, including those in quarantine at the barangay isolation units and in their homes. MSWDO chief Adelaida Badilla said the food meals also include frontliners from the Municipal Health Office during vaccination rollouts and from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management office during disasters.
