DAVAO DE ORO, February 16 (PIA) - - Although the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has disturbed the lives of the people, Maragusan still finds blessings amidst the pandemic. Maragusan Mayor Maricel Colina-Vendiola revealed during the Network Briefing News that the town was made even more popular during the pandemic because of its vegetables, and tourism sites. “During the pandemic, aside from tourism , naging known din po kami as basket of high-valued vegetables,” Mayor Vendiola said. According to the mayor, three former communist insurgency infested barangays are now producing cabbage, onions, bell pepper, chayote, and eggplant. These barangays are Mabugnao, Langawisan, and Bahi.
