DAVAO DEL NORTE, Jan. 6 (PIA) – The vaccination rates in Kapalong has considerably increased after holding two rounds of three-day National Vaccination Days dubbed as "Bayanihan Bakunahan" to  fight COVID-19. Kapalong Municipal Mayor Maria Theresa R. Timbol revealed an interview yesterday (Jan. 6) at the Network Briefing hosted by Bing Kimpo on behalf of Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar.   " Yung bakuna po namin before sa Bayanihan Bakunahan mababa po talaga, yung percentage namin na sa 25% lang po (Our vaccination rate before the Bayanihan Bakunahan was really low. Timbol said on Wednesday, (Jan. 5) that the municipal government's food and cash assistance to COVID-19 pandemic heavily affected residents were released on time at the onset of the pandemic.   Meanwhile the local government unit of Kapalong still exerts efforts to ease peoples' burden while the pandemic is still ongoing. DAVAO DEL NORTE, Dec. 22 (PIA) -- The Municipal Government of Kapalong conducted the Two-Day Peace Pact Program in its sixth edition this year for the Ata-Manobo Tribe in Sitio Kapatagan in Barangay Gupitan on December 16-17, 2021.   The program is aimed at uniting the government and the Ata-Manobo Tribe through mutual dialogues with various national government agencies to listen to their needs and aspirations.
