DAVAO CITY, Feb. 9 (PIA) – Department of Education (DepEd) XI Regional Director Dr. Allan Faranzo announced in the One Davao Virtual Presser that 186 schools in Davao Region temporarily suspended face to face classes which were supposedly scheduled to start last February 7. “ Handang-handa na sana ang 186 na paaralan dito sa Davao Region para sa face to face na klase na dapat sana ay nagsimula noong Pebrero 7. Handa na sana ang mga ito batay sa pag-comply nila sa mga requirements at nagkaroon rin ito ng consultation at endorsement. Subalit sinusunod natin ang health alert level system na kapag Alert Level 3 ay automatic na suspended ang face to face classes,” Dr. Faranzo said. These schools passed the requirements based on the School Safety Assessment Tool used by the DepEd together with other government offices.
