DAVAO DE ORO, January 21 (PIA) - - Governor Jayvee Tyron Uy turned over 27 generator sets to the Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office (DDOPPO) for the Revitalized Police sa Barangay (RPSB) teams. The generator set with 1,000 watts capacity each were among the equipment that were sanctified during the Blessing Ceremony on Monday. According to the DDOPPO, the gen set will be distributed to the RPSB clusters, who are deployed in 77 geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. Governor Uy stressed that the portable equipment will help not just the RPSB teams in rolling out their peace initiatives, but also the communities which as of now, do not have proper source of electricity. “Dinhi sa Davao de Oro, dili lang bantay-kalinaw ang kapulisan apan partner usab sila sa paglambo ug pagtubag sa panginahanglan sa atong conflict-affected areas,” the Governor said.
