DAVAO City, Nov. 3 (PIA) – Science and technology regional director in Region XI Dr. Anthony Sales highlighted previous Dabawenyo winners of the Regional Inventions Contest and Expo during the One Davao Virtual Presser, a program of the Philippine Information Agency XI. “We celebrate the RICE every two years as a way of recognizing the outstanding inventions and innovations of Filipinos,” Dr. Sales said. The said competition and exhibit is co-organized by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the DOST together with the DOST regional offices. It searches for the next roster of individuals to be included in the best and the brightest local trailblazers in the country who will compete in the national level invention contest.
