DAVAO CITY, November 15 (PIA) – Travelers to Davao City via land, sea, and air will no longer be required to present a Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) negative result upon entry thru the Executive Order 66 issued today.The said order will take effect starting 12:01AM of November 16, 2021. In the Special Hours with Mayor Sara Duterte aired over Davao City Disaster Radio said the decision to remove such requirement was due to the change in the COVID-19 status in the city which is placed under Alert Level 2 until November 30, 2021. Mayor Duterte said there is now a bigger chance for Dabawenyos to have a “merry Christmas” following the significant drop of COVID19 cases in the city and an efficient vaccination roll-out.
