PDEA eyes illegal drug free Davao de Oro on 2022

DAVAO CITY, December 29 (PIA) - - Davao de Oro will be declared illegal drug free on 2022, official from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said. PDEA DDO Provincial Officer Clodito Cañada revealed during the Virtual Illegal Drugs Symposium for the Youth in DDO that there are only 49 out of 237 barangays in the province that will be cleared from illegal drugs next year. “I have announced during the last conduct of the Provincial Peace and Order Council; I have already signified to our Governor that we will exert all our efforts in clearing the barangay next year,” Cañada said. Estimated P7.1M worth of illegal drugs and kits, burned in DavOr

Dayanghirang witnesses the burning of confiscated illegal drugs held in Mati City DAVAO ORIENTAL, Oct. 28 (PIA) -- Confiscated illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia amounting to an estimate of P7.1M from all legitimate operations all over the region were burned today (Oct. 28) at Balay Silangan in Sitio Magay, Barangay Don Martin Marundan in Mati City. A total of 799.8 grams of Methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, worth P5.4M; and 14, 299.84 grams of Cannabis, commonly known as Marijuana, worth P1.7M were burned by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI.
