DAVAO DE ORO, Feb. 21 (PIA) - A total of 32 persons were arrested during the weekend in the simultaneous anti-criminality and law enforcement operations of the Philippine National Police in Davao de Oro. According to the report from the Davao de Oro Provincial Police Office (DDOPPO), the police nabbed eleven individuals from seven towns through search warrants, buy-bust and checkpoint operations. The identified municipalities were Mabini, Maco, Mawab, Monkayo, New Bataan, and Nabunturan. Along with the nabbed persons, the police also seized 2.5308 grams of white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine or shabu loaded in 25 sachets, and one pack 30.2 grams of marijuana dried leaves. The street value of the drugs confiscated is at PhP 20,833.44. In its operations in Laak, Mawab, Pantukan, and Nabunturan, the police also apprehended four persons with five loose firearms, and 12 live ammunitions.
