DAVAO DEL NORTE, June 22 (PIA) — Tagum City and Panabo City are making efforts to enforce the policies amidst the province’s General Community Quarantine (GCQ) status. In Tagum, the City Economic Enterprises Office leads the inspection of frontline services and establishments to make sure that the health protocols are implemented. Through their operation called “OPLAN DAKOP”, health protocol violators in the Economic Enterprises such as the Public Market, Terminal, Livestock and Trade Center are issued with a citation ticket. Those issued with the ticket will have to pay P540 to the City Treasurer’s Office within 7 days or face a legal case filed against them. Among the most common violations found is the failure to wear or improper wearing of facemasks.
