San Isidro associations receive livelihood programs from EO 70

DAVAO DEL NORTE, Feb. 14 (PIA) -- Two people's organizations in the Municipality of San Isidro received a livelihood program funding from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through its Sustainable Development Program (SLP) in response to Executive Order 70 or the Whole-of-the-Nation Approach signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The Igangon General Merchandise EO70 SLP Association in Barangay Igangon and the Barangay Monte Dujali General Merchandise EO70 SLP Association in Barangay Monte Dujali received early this year their seed capital funds to start their proposed livelihood programs for their constituents. DSWD open to serve more Balik Probinsya beneficiaries

DAVAO CITY, January 31 (PIA) - The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), together with other national government agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of Agriculture (DA) highlighted in the One Davao Virtual Presser insitiated by the Philippine Information Agency XI the various support services provided to the first batch of Balik Probinsya Bagong Pag-asa Program or BP2P in 2021 in the region. DSWD pioneers mental health law implementation

DAVAO DEL NORTE, Oct. 21 (PIA) -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is among the first to implement the RA 11036 or the Mental Health Law signed into law by President Rodrigo R. 4Ps beneficiaries show high compliance to conditions despite pandemic

DAVAO CITY, October 14 (PIA) – The Department of Social Welfare and Development XI (DSWD) recorded high compliance of the 4Ps (Pantawid Programa ng Pamilyang Pilipino) beneficiaries to the different conditions on health and education despite environmental challenges brought by the COVID19 pandemic. In yesterday’s One Davao Virtual Presser, DSWD 4Ps Regional Program Coordinator Margie Cabido said beneficiaries of the program significantly scored better in complying the conditions of the 4Ps, the 12-year old conditional cash transfer program of the agency which was enacted into law last 2019 thru Republic Act 11310. “From April 2020 to November 2020, beneficiaries were not expected to strictly comply with the conditions set by the programs because the COVID19 pandemic is considered a force majeure.
