DAVAO CITY, Nov. 15 (PIA) - - The Department of Education (DepEd) opened on Monday, face-to-face classes in five schools in Davao de Oro. The identified schools are Bares Elementary School (Pagsabangan Extension), Parasan Integrated School, Lower Panansalan Elementary School (Jacinto Extension), Maugat Elementary School, and Digaynon Integrated School (Manurigao Extension). Located in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas, the five schools are among the eight educational institutions in Davao Region that were allowed by DepEd for face-to-face classes. A total of 338 pupils attended the first day of in-person classes in the province. During the kick off program, the students received tablets from DepEd, milk feeding supplies under the Kusina ng Kalinga (KNK) universal feeding program, and workbook under Bayanihan Para sa Karunungan (BPSK) – iDdO Read Project.
