DAVAO CITY, Jan. 21 (PIA)—A city councilor urged the public to be extra-careful nowadays by wearing correctly the facemasks to avoid exposure from the COVID-19 infection. Councilor Louie John Bonguyan, chair of the committee on energy of the 19 th City Council said COVID-19 infection has different symptoms ranging from flu-like symptoms to sinusitis. “I’ve observed some would wear mask with their nose exposed. They can get the virus or they themselves cause transmission, “Bonguyan said. He said a resident must double the masks he wears and have themselves vaccinated or get booster shots, because of the rapid transmission of the COVID-19 infection. Bonguyan bared that 90 percent of the people confined at the Southern Philipppines Medical Center is unvaccinated.
