The tourism sector vaccination is a multi-sectoral partnership between the City Government of Davao, the private sector spearheaded by the Davao Tourism Association (DATA) and the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao which provided the venue as part of the hotel’s 60th anniversary.

“This vaccination program goes to show that in Davao City, we have a beautiful working relationship between the private sector and the city government,” Tecson added.

Meanwhile Cherry Al-ag president-elect of DATA said Bakuna by the Sea is giant step towards attaining recovery and normalcy.

“I understand we still are in a difficult and very challenging times the desire to recover and restart is there and one powerful way to do it is to get ourselves and our people vaccinated,” Al-ag said.

She said systems have been put in place to have a safe and orderly vaccination process.

“No walk-ins, only those who have PRE-REGISTERED in the CHO google link and those who have been GIVEN A SCHEDULE shall be vaccinated based on the initial vaccines allocated (2k) this week and to avoid crowding, among other safety considerations,” Al-ag said.
