LGUs prepare for the 3-day Bayanihan Bakunahan

DAVAO CITY, November 23 (PIA) – Following the advisory issued by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) for local government units to join and support the Bayanihan Bakunahan on November 29 to December 1, the LGUs in Davao Region are now preparing for the actual conduct of the nationwide vaccination event.  “Ongoing na ang mga meetings sa different LGUs in preparation for the event. They are now working on the logistics, their target number of vaccinees, how to go about with the vaccination, and also how to get volunteers,” DILG XI Regional Director Alex Roldan said. Bayanihan Bakunahan is a collaboration effort of the government together with various communities and organizations for National Vaccination Day, a vaccination drive aimed to jab 5 million per day on November 29, 30 and December 1.
