DavNor launches Capitolympics 2021




DAVAO DEL NORTE, Nov. 3 (PIA) -- The Provincial Government of Davao Del Norte has launched the Capitolympics 2021 on October 29, 2021 at the Davao Del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex. The event was attended by the employees from all offices of the provincial government.


At the opening ceremony, the traditional passing of the torch and lighting of the cauldron which was creatively pre-filmed amazed the participants.

After the presentation of the 14 sporting events to compete this year,  is the introduction of the candidates who are joining the Search for Ginoo at Binibining Capitolympics 2021.

This year's Capitolympics is expected to be fun and engaging as the production committee was given to the Provincial Information, Communication, and Knowledge Management Office (PICKMO).

On behalf of the Provincial Governor Edwin I. Jubahib, the Provincial Administrator Engr. Josie Jean R. Rabanoz encouraged all employees to join the events to boost not just their physical wellness but also their mental health.

The Provincial Sports and Youth Development Office (PSYDO) also assured that all the sporting events will follow the IATF guidelines on the conduct of the sports events. (PIA XI Davao del Norte/jmda/Ezri M. DENR-XI stops mining operations of nickel firm

(ANRI) for causing the river siltation in Banaybanay, Davao Oriental.
