AFP wins people's trust and confidence - Torres



DAVAO DEL NORTE, Nov. 4 (PIA) -- The Armed Forces of The Philippines have won the trust and confidence of the people in condemning the Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs), particularly in the areas of responsibility of the 10th Infantry Agila Division, said its commander, Major General Ernesto C. Torres Jr. in a live interview.


During his guesting on the latest episode of the Kapihan sa DavNor, Torres described the milestone accomplishments of the 10th ID in one sentence, "We have won the trust and confidence of the people in our area of responsibility," he said.

He also highlighted that their achievements would not become possible without the support of the different government agencies and the local chief executives.

"I can confidently claim that with the implementation of the projects of AFP, in cooperation with the different agencies, the local chief executives, we can say that our milestone accomplishments can be encapsulated in one sentence, which is we have won the trust and confidence of the people in our area of responsibility," Torres said.

He also pointed out the results of the recent survey of Publicus Asia Survey as a testament of people's trust as AFP garnered the highest approval rating among other government agencies.

"This is an indication that the people are really trusting our deeds, our works and all the operations we are conducting in this area because among the different agencies, and this one thing that I would like to share with you proudly, the Armed Forces of the Philippines has the highest trust and confidence rating," Torres' said of the AFP’s high approval rating in the survey.  (PIA XI Davao del Norte/jmda/Ezri M. Completed projects turned over to far-flung villages in DavSur

DAVAO CITY, Dec. 24 (PIA) – The provincial government of Davao del Sur has intensified its turnover of completed projects to provide convenience to the intended beneficiaries in the far-flung areas in the province.   Among the recently turned over was the covered space with stage worth P1,186,886.58 for the Sibulan National High School in the remote barangay of Sibulan in the municipality of Sta.
