PCOO chief cites role of KBP support in reporting Duterte’s legacy


DAVAO CITY, Sept. 29 (PIA)- Presidential Communications Operations (PCOO) head, Secretary Martin Andanar cited the role of Kapisanan ng mga Broadcasters sa Pilipinas (KBP) in bringing to the audience the legacy of President Rodrigo Duterte as traditional means of communications is hampered by the pandemic.

 

“Importante man gud kaayo ang atong pakipag-partnership sa KBP mao nang it is really our goal sa among national communications strategy na gwapo among media relations, because of our good media relationship ang atong Philippine Information Agency naningkamot ang PCOO naningkamot  mao nan aa tay interview parehas karon. Siyempre dili mahimo ning interview kung dili maayo ang imung relasyon sa radio stations (Our partnership with the KBP is very important as it is goal in our national communications strategy that we have good media relations…. Our Philippine Information Agency is striving our PCOO is striving that is why we have an interview today, we cannot have this interview if we don’t have good relationship with the radio station) ” Sec. Andanar said during his radio interview with Tagum City-based radio broadcaster Ruel Dagsangan at the DXDN 936 Radyo Ukay Tagum, early morning Sept. 29.

 

He said the radio stations can reach the audience more particularly in the barangays to aid the capability of government information.

 

The Duterte Legacy is a comprehensive communication campaign undertaken by the PCOO highlighting the gains of President Rodrigo Duterte, Sec. Andanar said this campaign will last till the last day of President Duterte in office and will involve government agencies who have contributed to the accomplishments. (PIA/RG Alama)

More NPAs surrender in DavNor

DAVAO DEL NORTE, Nov. 23 (PIA) – More than 30 former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines - New People's Army (CPP-NPA) recently surrendered to government troops in the Province of Davao Del Norte with their firearms turned over to the 10th Infantry AGILA Division of  the Philippine Army. Parents urged to register children to Safe Davao QR before vax

DAVAO CITY, February 22—(PIA) A local vaccine czar urged parents to register first their children aged five to eleven to the SAFEDAVAO QR before they can go to vaccine sites for inoculation. Dr. Josephine Villafuerte, Vaccination Cluster head of the city bared the registration to the SAFEDAVAOQR is crucial so that their children will be integrated in the local vaccination system. She said that the vaccination for children now is on its second phase, with three vaccination sites namely San Roque Elementary School in Barrio Obrero, Vicente Hizon Elementary School at Barangay Sasa and the Almendras gym. “Children can be vaccinated on these sites, whether they are walk-ins provided they have registered at the SAFEDAVAOQR,” Villafuerte said.
