DAVAO City, July 6 (PIA)—The
school-year 2020-2021 will end in July 10, 2021.
This was revealed by Jeneilito
Atillo, spokesperson of the Department of Education XI who said that the
remaining two days will give time for teachers to catch up for those who are
about to submit their modules for the fourth periodical grading.
He said the teachers must work
overtime in ensuring that the Graduating class, particularly the grade six in
the elementary education, grade 12 in senior high, the completers in grade 10,
must be worked ahead like the preparation of their grades.
Atillo described the first batch of all learners as the ones who need to complete their requirements for graduation.
He disclosed that the other grade levels will have to wait since there are those who are hard in submitting the modules on time.
“Perhaps the parents are not yet through in responding the modules,” he said in jest.

to submit the requirements earlier, but their responsibilities have quadrupled
because of the many forms to fill out.
He said there are delays on the part of the students, for reasons only known to them.
